In a team capstone, I worked with IT security events and industrial telemetry. The interesting part was deciding which signals mattered, investigating unusual behavior, and refining detections so alerts were easier to act on.
The project brought together ELK, Wazuh, automation, and a lot of careful work across a larger team.
My operating systems and compiler projects let me explore the machinery beneath everyday software. I’ve worked on file system behavior and language translation, where small implementation details make a big difference.
These projects are a different kind of puzzle from subtitle editing, but I like the same thing about both: understanding the details well enough to make the result feel simple.
